Elliptical 45:00 [3]

Kameron was put on bedtime duty so I managed to get to the gym.

Tuesday Mar 30, 2010 #

Running 30:30 [3] 3.6 mi (8:28 / mi)
shoes: PI Syncro Seek II

Quick run after work - and more importantly before everyone got home. This time slot is certainly easier than 9-10 after the kids are asleep and much preferred to the 6AM-7AM slot.

Cycling - Spinning 50:00 [3]

New session - so she took it easy on some of the newbies. At least she improved her choice of music.

Running 36:00 [3] 4.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

GPS had a hard time getting going so the distance is a bit of an estimate.

Note

The effort to implement a LIDAR basemapping capabilities for ROC seems to be just about complete. We have the software up and running, kinks worked out with aerials and GPS imports, and the raw the LIDAR data for Webster (including the new land to the west) and Rush Oak Openings. The ability to create contours at any interval is quite nice and to then import all data (aerials, gps tracks, parcel lines, contours) on the same georeferenced coordinate system is even better.

I hope we can have new base maps in the next couple weeks and new O-maps for the two fall meets we have at those locations.

Unfortunately I think we will get to the point where setting up LIDAR basemaps will outpace our ability to check the work in the field.

Running 44:11 [3] 5.01 mi (8:49 / mi)
shoes: PI Syncro Seek II

It is amazing what a bit of sun can do for my motivation. Home-Perinton Park-Turk Hill via sidewalks and towpath. The paved surface were remarkably clean.

Calf was barely noticable. Will likely remove it from log in a day or two.

calf feeling much better

Weights 15:00 [3]

Basketball 1:00:00 [3]

Highest intensity for basketball with Tyler. We joined a 3-on-3 game and I had to work pretty hard to keep up. Maybe a bit too hard.....

Stationary Bike 25:00 [3]

Got on the bike after basketball and my calf was just not right. It feels like a cramp but based on the continued pain it is likely a strain of some sort.

Monday Mar 1, 2010 #

Running 40:00 [3] 4.2 mi (9:31 / mi)
shoes: PI Syncro Seek II

easy run along the boardwalk. nicer views than yesterday
