Orienteering 24:58 [4]*** 3.6 km (6:56 / km)
14c
ROC NOD Event at Highland Park. This is a fun park to run in and the best place to run for the kids. Nice and open. Ran the 'sprint' course at 3.6km and thought my pace was OK. But I had a hard time with many controls - not necessarily finding them, but hitting them right on. I overshot a couple by a small amount and pulled up short on a couple others, not trusting what the map was telling me )or not paying attention. The kids smoked the white course (with Kameron's help) and Kameron did the sprint. Actual distance run = 4.2 km.

My hip has been sore since the goat last weekend and now I am pretty sure it is more than just tired muscles. Will try to take it easy for the next week in prep for 3 races next weekend.

Friday Sep 15

Running 22:10 [3]4.8 km (4:37 / km)
I have been a bit of a slug lately so it was good to get out - even through it was a short jaunt.

Monday Sep 11

Running 28:23 [3]5.4 km (5:15 / km)
Turk Hill - High Street - Tow Path loop. Still sore in places from Saturday's Goat event.
