Running race (Trail Run) 55:06 [4] 10.0 km (5:31 / km)

Mendon Ponds Trail Run - Organized by ROC! On our way to the park we hit some pretty good rain, but by start time it fizzled out and we were rain free for the entire race. The temps were great - I even had to shed my long sleeves and hat at 'Carols Diner' about half way through the race.

Kameron and I ran together the entire time, with me gaining on the downhills and K gaining on the uphills. In general I hit the downhills pretty hard being very comfortable with my footing. Not having a map to mull over I started to wonder if that was the best thing for my muscles. I tried to keep my level of effort as even as possible.

Kameron and I finished at the SAME time, but she handed her tag off before me and got a one second bump in the 'official standings'. I think that it was a good thing. When I teased her about it she said she wouldn't wait for me at the top of the hills next time :-)

Great race and well organized.

Red/Orange indicated a slower pace and the green and blue are faster. You can see the problems we had on the east side. Also, it is a kind of hard to see what is going on with all of the overlapping routes and no indicator of direction. Will see what can be done for future tracks.

Running 24:03 [4] 5.3 km (4:32 / km)

Turk Hill - Perinton Park loop. It was so nice out I only needed shorts and a tee for this run. I consciously pushed the pace tonight and was able to trim my pace down by about 15 sec/mile from the other night on the same route.

Running 24:42 [3] 5.3 km (4:40 / km)

Turk Hill - Perinton Park Loop - It was too warm to not get outside for some activity today. I did rake the yard and jumped in the leaves with the kids, but no one has been audacious enough to post 'yard work' for an Activity/Sport yet.
