Running 26:30 [3] 5.8 km (4:34 / km)

Turk Hill - Perinton Park loop. Ankle was a bit stiff for first 2km, then eased up a bit. I think I will still need to be a bit cautious on uneven terrain for the next week or so. It will probably be complaining tomorrow morning when I wake up.

Hiking 1:00:00 [1] 2.5 mi (24:00 / mi)

Bear Mountain - from Cranberry Lake - actual time was more like two hours but we were with the kids and we took it easy. They actually kept a pace that was pretty close to our natural hiking pace and only required an occasional break. The top of the mountain has been transformed from when I was a kid. It has gone from dense woods and undergrowth to open woods with an incredible amount of vine growth. It also looked like the DEC has stabilized the trails with grasses. Not sure if they are native or not but it appears to have improved the trail erosion.
