Orienteering (Sprint) 12:20 [4] *** 2.0 km (6:10 / km)
spiked:10/11c

BFLO - Chestnut Ridge Park Sprint. Made big mistake on #7 - going to the wrong building in a complex of buildings. Rest of controls were OK. Finished 4th

Orienteering (Score-O) 57:15 [3] *** 7.5 km (7:38 / km)
spiked:15/16c

BFLO - Chestnut Ridge - Score-O on west and south sides of park - used old map even though updates had been made. Don't think it made too much of a difference for me. Grabbed all the controls with about 2 minutes to spare - edging out Gil by about a minute. Distance is an estimate and will update soon/add detail.

Ankle felt good. Rolled it once (forward) and got a shot of pain for a couple minutes. Good enough though to take off injury list.

Mapping 1:45:00 [1] 3.74 mi (28:04 / mi)

Powder Mills - finished up the bulk of the updates for 2007 - but will probably make some refinements and veg updates during course setting for the Sept 9th meet. Spent most of the time in the extreme north part of the park which is rarely visited. It is good terrain, but the roads and the park property lines hem the area in and make it difficult to use.

Trail Running 29:10 [3] 3.02 mi (9:39 / mi)

Powder Mills - took a quick spin after mapping. About 2/3 trails with some road running. Ankle was on my mind the entire time. It is feeling better but one false step....

Running 26:30 [3] 5.8 km (4:34 / km)

Turk Hill - Perinton Park loop. Ankle was a bit stiff for first 2km, then eased up a bit. I think I will still need to be a bit cautious on uneven terrain for the next week or so. It will probably be complaining tomorrow morning when I wake up.
