Orienteering (Ski-O) 1:01:46 [4] *** 6.65 km (9:17 / km)
spiked:7/7c

Mendon Ponds Ski-O - Green. While part of me regretted not doing the Red course, I think it was smart to stick with the Green. I think any more than that and I would have left in a bad mood. The conditions (at least for Green) probably favored classic and I did pretty well technically. My biggest problem was at one of the road crossings where I got ice in the binding and took several minutes getting my skis back on.The route choices were fairly straightforward. I had to think about the pond crossing to #1 and only had my map out of my pocket at each control point.

Treadmill (hills) 30:00 [3] 3.3 mi (9:05 / mi)

Rec Center - Kameron managed a 9 mile run today - outside, but all I could manage was an indoor jaunt in front of a TV. At least I did not get sick today. The monitors are 12-18 inches from your face and my motion sickness tends to kick in when watching them.

RIT Fitness Center - I never realized that I could use the fitness center as an adjunct instructor for free (nominal fee during quarters I dont teach) So since it is fairly convenient to work I thought I would try out this morning. Nice place with pool and indoor track. Now if I can just get into the habit of dragging myself out of bed early enough...
