Strength 1:15:00 [3]

Boot Camp class at the rec center (mix of cardio and strength). Kameron signed herself up and then promptly made plans that would take up most of her Saturday mornings. So, rather than get a refund I mistakenly volunteered to take her place.

Snowboarding 1:00:00 [1]

Brantling - with the entire family. Actual time was probably close to 3 hours, but most of the time was spent working with the kids to get into their bindings or get onto the lift. We still have some work to do with the lift. Bryn has good balance going down, but does not have any independence with regard to getting in and out of the bindings (or up the lift for that matter).

This was my first time on a snowboard and it went pretty well. Staying low on the slopes with the kids kept me from getting overly ambitious. This was probably Kameron's first and last time. She say next time she is bringing a crockpot full of chili and a good book.

Orienteering (Ski-O) 1:01:46 [4] *** 6.65 km (9:17 / km)

Mendon Ponds Ski-O - Green. While part of me regretted not doing the Red course, I think it was smart to stick with the Green. I think any more than that and I would have left in a bad mood. The conditions (at least for Green) probably favored classic and I did pretty well technically. My biggest problem was at one of the road crossings where I got ice in the binding and took several minutes getting my skis back on.The route choices were fairly straightforward. I had to think about the pond crossing to #1 and only had my map out of my pocket at each control point.
