Trail running at the river. Beautiful day, nice run. Lots of new trees down across the trail from the storm Wed night. Also several that looked to have been down for quite a while, perhaps sometime during the summer. Don't know how long it's been since I ran here, probably was in May, maybe June.

Still no power.
Spent about 3 hours doing yardwork. Lots of walking, but I'll chalk it up as about a 1 hour workout. It's fatiguing, but I guess not really a workout. Lots of leaves and dead branches/sticks to pick up after the storm on Wed night. Raking leaves and then mulching them with the lawn mower. Yard looks much better but I'll have to repeat the whole thing in about two weeks when the bulk of the leaves come down.
Was hoping to go to FDR and run one of the courses I streamered for next month's meet. Sam has been without power since the storm also. So he is stuck at home watching his generator. Since Sam didn't go, I didn't either. Hopefully we can meet there tomorrow.
Power finally returned about 3:30 this afternoon!

We lost power last night, probably between 3 and 5 am, when the remnants of hurricane Zeta went through. Power came on ~2pm for 2.5 hours, but off again ~4:30 and stayed off the rest of the day, evening, night. We couldn't watch the news last night but I'm presuming the pandemic didn't end and we missed hearing about it.
Walked to Blue Moon Pizza, ordered pizza, walked home. Then drove back to get the pizza. Went to bed early as it was dark even with our candles and flashlights.

A good workout. Thought I would feel stiff or tired from the long O run yesterday, but felt fine.
Take-out Indian food for dinner tonight. It was delicious.

Went down to FDR and ran the Blue course I streamered for our meet next month. It went really well. Haven't done an 8.4km course in a long time. 120min flat! Pretty excited about that, managed to keep moving the whole course (helps having hung the streamers first but still...). Really psyched about spiking number 7 on the long leg. Took the straight route, contouring for about 500m. Seems like a pretty good, interesting course - hopefully everyone else will also like it.

When heading from the last control to the parking lot about a dozen police cars with blue lights on went whizzing by. Learned later that Biden was campaigning in Warm Springs and Atlanta today. I'm guessing I saw his caravan going by on a Warm Springs - Pine Mountain - I85 route to Atlanta.
