Orienteering 23:40 [3] 1.38 mi (17:09 / mi)
shoes: VJ Falcon Green

Went to Sweetwater to run some proposed legs. Felt tired to begin with. Didn't concentrate very well. Twisted my angle 18 minutes in. :-( Naturally it was at the furtherest point from the start/car. Walked in after that. Still feels a bit sore. Hopefully will be better by tomorrow but I expect will take a few days before it feels good enough to run on again.
The Sweetwater map is really, really out-of-date. All the mapped rootstocks and dot knolls are pitifully small, almost all are well beyond the point of putting them on a map. Naturally there a several (many) new rootstocks of significant size that should be mapped. Some vegetation changes also, but otherwise the map is still pretty good. I'm very happy with how runnable the woods is, so much more so than what I remember from years ago.
Despite the running complaints, it was a great day! News of the Biden/Harris victory can't be beat.

Bicycling 41:00 [4] 11.3 mi (3:38 / mi)
ahr:147 max:167

Start to the Eves Rd turn-round. Route along the river in Roswell (Lower Roswell Rd, Azalea Dr, up Eves Rd). It was a beautiful day, sunny, clear, 74 degrees.

Bicycling 54:00 [4] 13.7 mi (3:56 / mi)
ahr:139 max:159

From the Eves Rd turn-around back to the start. Added a few hills to get some more distance and a better workout. Got very slowed down in traffic at Roswell Rd for 5-10 min. All in all a very nice ride though.

Power Yoga (Intermediate/Advanced lev) 45:00 [3]

Had a great yoga session with Kristen M. today. Did really well on ALL the poses! Bird of Paradise was good. Really nailed the Firefly, Helicoptor and Eight-angle poses! Did well on the tripod headstand too! The weight lifting and yoga training are paying off, strength-wise.

Orienteering 1:37:00 [3] 7.4 km (13:06 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcon Blue

Went to Sweetwater Creek SP and ran a home made course I designed. Beautiful day, sunny, clear skies and 65 F. Didn't run very fast (disappointing) but did keep moving the whole time. Made a concerted effort to run up the hills. Was successful some of the time. Definitely tired out after an hour. GPS says the 7.4 km course length was 8.47km (5.23 mi).

Tried my new pair of shoes for the first time today. They felt fine, maybe need to tie them a little tighter. But no issues, so that's good.

Orienteering race 1:28:10 [4] 6.7 km (13:10 / km) +160m 11:45 / km
shoes: VJ Falcon Green

GAOC meet at Ft. Yargo S.P. Mostly trail running as the woods is really, really crappy. Nice day though. My legs felt tired and I didn't have any giddyup in me. But managed to keep moving none the less.
