another good workout, getting better and better at the really tough forms. Pretty much nailed the bird of paradise on both sides! Being rested really helps I think.

Note

No training today.
Worked at CAC Food Pantry all afternoon. It was very hectic, busier than I've ever seen it.

Note

No real training today. I was going to call it a rest day, and let my ankle keep healing as it still hurts a bit if I try to use it in a willy-nilly fashion. However I ended up doing about 3-4 hours of yard work. :-( Blowing leaves and then mulching them up with the lawn mower. Also just mowing up all the leaves on the grass. So by the end of the day I was pretty wore out. Maybe not training, but definitley not an easy, off day.

Walking (yard work) 1:00:00 [2]

Actually about 3-4 hours of yard work. But to not give myself too much credit, I'll chalk it up as one hour of walking for training purposes.

Note

My ankle is still sore and a little tender from twisting it on Sat. :-(

It was another beautiful fall day, alhtough a little overcast, leaves are peak colors and starting to come down with seriousness. Saw a big buck (6 points?) walk across our front yard in the middle of the afternoon. Probably one of the deer that keep eating our hosta plants. Wish someone would take him out .

Bicycling 1:44:00 [4] 29.56 mi (3:31 / mi)

Rode with Pam on a Fleet Feet group ride. It was a large group today, over a dozen people. I pretty good pace too, especially considering the noticable headwind on the outbound leg. Still we managed 16+ mph for the total. Middle part was along the river, then up the hill on Eves Rd to the turn-around. Out and back course.
My twisted ankle from yesterday felt ok while riding. Walking I definitely notice it. Really pisses me off to have done that. Hopefully no issues by this weekend when I'm setting controls for our FDR meet.
