Note

Calf slowly getting better. Still hurting though when I try to actually use it for something significant, like walking uphill.

Spent about 4 hours pulling weeds. Hopefully I can throw some flower seeds on the ground in the next day or two.

Happy Birthday Fred! Had friends over for beer and pizza and then cake and ice cream for my birhtday party in the driveway. Very pleasant weather and a great evening.

Note

Another day of aching calf muscle and no activity.

Spent two hours on the phone with H&R Block trying to get Mackenzie's MD tax return to work. So far completely unsucessful. Sure seems like a bug in their software to me, but they claim they can't see it or recreate it. Whatever. May need to just mail in the paper return instead of e-filing.

Note

Nothing exciting. Several hours of yard work, mostly pulling weeds and spreading pine straw. Calf still hurts a lot! Especially when I do anything that pulls or stretches the calf muscle.

Took Pam out for dinner for Mother's Day. Pleasant evening on the deck at Pure over in Brookhaven.
