Yoga flow with Aditi. Lots of back bends.

Bending over forward hurts the lower back a little. Too much bending over while doing yard work I think. Gotta gove that a break for a couple days.

Lower Roswell - Riverside out and back. Skipped all the hills, e.g. Eves Dr and around Martin's Lake. Another test ride for the calf. Didn't notice any pain or ill affects from yesterday so decided to give it a better, longer test today. Again no issues riding. Starting to feel pretty positive about the recovery.

Bicycling at Columns Drive. Two out and back loops. My calf has been feeling much better. I haven't noticed any pain the last couple days. So I wanted to test it with some real exercise and thought bicycling would be a gentle way to reengage. All went well. No pain while bicycling and nothing afterwards either. Things are looking up.
Garmin watch says this was a 17.6 mph average. Very happy to see that. It seems surprisingly fast as I wasn't pushing it at all. It's a completely flat course so that makes it a bit easier.

Calf is feeling much better. Still noticable, but not nearly as painful as before, which is unexpected. Maybe by the end of the week it won't be noticable anymore?

GAOC meet at McIntosh. Still suffering from the pulled calf muscle. Walked the Brown course thinking that would be OK. It wasn't. Calf started hurting almost immediately after starting. Painful enough to start limping about half way around. Really a pity as it was out last meet of the spring. A nice park and beautiful day. Sam set very fun, easy courses - would have been a great running test. Everyone, other than me :-( , had very fast times.
