Hill Park Dale H3. Fairly happy with my run. Still not feeling good physically, feeling stuffed from the start and it never got better, but only a couple of fairly small time losses so a pretty good run. No.4 was a little misplaced but I didn't waste much time only going to the right gully and then headed for the next gully over. Craig came up from the fence to the control just ahead of me and confirmed it was too far over. Time losses were a small mistake at no.6, and veering off where I was intending to go between 12-13 adding some unnecessary distance. Otherwise got everything ok. Took the less wide left route from 10-11. I know Kellie went the wide left route and lots went more straight over the top of the hill, so interested to see the splits for that one. VERY careful crossing fences today and leg/hip was ntb!

Sprint race practice on Hill Park Dale using the normal map blown up to 1:5000. Was fun and did 95% of it very well. Just stopped paying attention from the last control to the finish and just headed out of the control down the hill. Too late realised that was a really bad thing to do, as I had to run around a big spur doing twice the distance of the straight line. Good reminder to keep concentating to the end!! Ignoring that pretty happy with the run.

Hurt my hip and leg again last night. One of those cases where it wouldn't have hurt if my hip wasn't still a bit stuffed. Tripped on a gym mat and between tripping and saving myself with my dodgy leg got the searing pain again through the joint and leg. Now it's a bit more aggravated than it has been. When I told Craig I'd hurt it again we could only laugh. It has just been ridiculous. Still feeling tired, but not as exhausted. Hopefully a week will be long enough to come good.

Felt fine doing the efforts, legs felt quite strong, but feeling exhausted in the recoveries.

Out to Martin Rd and past the waste transfer station. Feeling exhausted atm. Starting to think it may be low iron. Left hip and hamstring a bit niggly.

Only a little bit sore in lower calves for the first few steps. Then not sore, just a bit tired. Didn't expect a 10k race to have improved that. A bit sore in butt/hamstring doing the high knee drill. Was sore in the same place pretty much the whole race yesterday, but it is just annoying, don't think it really restricts me much.
