Trail Run 1:07:00 [1] 5.96 mi (11:14 / mi)

Went to the hive to buy some terrasonic intelligrip's, which should work well on the 60F dead grass we have for the foreseeable future. I told the salesman to give me the stiffer pair I had picked out (confirmed to be better by Boss-man Nathan) as if I can't get kick, then I'd better get better at skiing. I told him I do the Birkie, but refrained from saying "elite" wave. He just wanted to make sure my classic skiing was "solid," I assured him it was. Fortunately while in BNS I got a good taste of some hive inhabitants. A women wanted to upgrade from her Rossi EVO's, stating that she did the Stagecoach Classic, she runs marathons all the time, and that she learned to ski in Davos. I wanted to turn to her and say "well, we're all impressed." I would guess her husband was Swiss, as most U.S. males wouldn't wear a pink scarf and aviator sun glasses inside (at least not both together). They almost had her get a new pair of Redlines, fortunately they decided on a demo pair of Redlines. She'll go a lot faster, if she can stand on them and get kick I suppose (providing she waxes them correctly). I'm sure her touring boots will be a good match to the skis. Don't get me wrong, I like BNS a lot, best ski shop on the planet, I'm lucky to have it so close. On the way home I ran at Rabbit Mt., haven't been there for a few years, I think.
