Easy ride on the X-bike, legs a bit sore. Wanted to do some laps at J-jones, but there was a cross-country race, so that was out. Did just a little bit at Homestead. On the way there, some ~10 year old kid on a BMX bike said "do you wanna race?" So I click it up a gear and got out of the saddle. The race was over in less than 5 seconds. I knew it was over when I could hear him go "awwww" from a long ways behind. I think that was the first race win of 2020. Too bad it doesn't count. It only counts if I have a number on. At Homestead, someone has been riding the side trails a bunch. Which is good, except you never know what you're going to find on side trails, there's only 4 possibilities: 1) someone enjoying the outdoors; 2) someone using drugs; 3) a homeless person sleeping; or 4) sex of some sort. I did see some people off on a side trail, given the chance of what they were doing was in the 75% of possibilities you don't want to run into, I opted for elsewhere. And this possibility is at minimum 75% when you consider there's potential for 2 or more of options 2, 3, or 4 occurring at the same time. Well, at least I don't want to see that stuff, but I know I got some real sickos who read my log...
