Valley trail loop and out to the cabin at Bobcat ridge. Saw a guy who said "Hey, I saw you yesterday." Must be getting a reputation.

Trail Run 15:00 [1] 1.38 mi (10:52 / mi)

Run to the base of the hill on the powerline trail.

Hike w/ poles 28:00 [1] 1.68 mi (16:40 / mi)

Hike with poles up the powerline trail to Mahoney Park.

Hike 30:00 [1] 3.25 mi (9:14 / mi)

Hike back down to car, given the HR essentially never got about 100, only counted half time.

Just to get more time in and a bit more of an arm workout.

Got a new saddle, it is much better. Rode at Devils Backbone, did the first loop after going up the hill in the anticline axial trace. Half way around remembered that the trail is foot only, so shoulder the bike and hiked the rest way around until it became multi use again. Rode past a mountain bike group working on a mechanical, one guy said "Woah, a cross bike, that's balls." I think this in an over estimation as I had to walk any seriously technical sections.

After I exhausted all the trails I could reasonably do with the X-bike, then put on the running gear and ran all the trails before the hill going up to the axial trace, including the Morrison trail a couple of times. Legs felt a bit tight, similar to Wednesday.

Skipped out on work an hour early, worked on the bike, then managed a longish ride. 28th over to F, then Poudre trail, then trail around Redbarn and the Learning Center, then back on 95th over to the rt. 34 trail. Seat and riding position have to be worked on...

Running club. I was really tired on the warmup, which is not that unusual as work makes me tired. But about 30 second into the first one, I knew there was nothing in my legs. I think Saturday was very hard, and the week before that, there were 3 hard days, so I think it just caught up with me. Workout was 6, 3, 6, 3, 6min. I had planned on lengthening the 3's to 5min, but as I was dead, I stuck with the planned workout. Paces were 6:25, 21, 16, 24, 16.

The new X-bike had a flat from a thorn, no surprise. So after finding some back up pedals to put on the mt. bike, rode to the bike shop to get some tire liners. The shop was closed of course, so rode home.
