Cyclo-X 2:02:00 [1] 29.75 mi (4:06 / mi)
ahr:120

I hope to be able to train 18 hours over Thanksgiving week (including both weekend) that's an average of 2 hours per day. I think I can manage it. The rides yesterday and today were not much trouble. My only concern is that I had a dry throat today, which could be a sign of illness, I'll know tomorrow. Did the Poudre trail to 95th ride, added some by going north on 95th, and hitting almost everything I could in the J-Jones neighborhood. I noticed the Al frame much more today and in the second half I was nearly wincing with any sizeable bump.

Turned out I got two flats on the last ride. Given I won't be getting my road bike for quite some time, I decided to put road tires on the X-bike so I can put it on the trainer. When I changed the tires, thorns had made it through the tire liner. I think those X-tires are good race tires but I should think about getting some thicker ones, then the thorns can't make it through the thickness of the tire with the liner. At any rate, the X-bike is a decent road bike, but the Al frame doesn't give the smoothest ride. Parked at Red Barn, did Sheeps draw and extra around that, F street to dog park, then west on the Poudre trail to Kodak, including the 'burbs, to round out the two hours. Windy.

Road Run 49:00 [1] 5.2 mi (9:25 / mi)
ahr:121

Managed to get a run in before dark. Decided to check out the new track at Heath. Its 8 lanes, so ran a lap in each lane, then over to the high school and back through Glenmere.

Road Run 49:00 [1] 5.26 mi (9:19 / mi)
ahr:127

With the time change, it meant that running club is over for the year. I couldn't do a run in the morning before work, so I ran to the running club end of the year gathering and back.
