Sunday Aug 11 #

Roller ski skate 2:05:00 [1] 20.96 mi (5:58 / mi)
ahr:125

Parked at red barn, went to Kodak and back, then to funplex and back. It takes a bit to get used skiing on the trail with the slippy poles and such, but by the end, it felt pretty natural.

Saturday Aug 10 #

Road Bike 2:39:00 [1] 36.76 mi (4:20 / mi)
ahr:109

Out 34, Sheeps draw extension, almost to Kodak and back through Island Grove. Felt drained and pace was slow in spots. Occasional sprinkles.

Friday Aug 9 #

Trail Run 1:00:00 [1] 6.24 mi (9:37 / mi)
ahr:134

Parked at PLC, ran there, to the new trail, then around Redbarn and back. It was hot, maybe as hot as upper 90s and I was sapped by the end because of it.

Note

Finally essentially caught up on the training log from the trip.

Roller ski skate 1:02:00 [1] 10.13 mi (6:07 / mi)
ahr:123

The new section of the Sheeps Draw trail is now open, so parked at the Funplex and skied that and went down to the F street junction. New trail is nice, has some gradual climbs. Used the triac 1.0 poles, which felt very long.

Road Bike 8:00 [1] 2.0 mi (4:00 / mi)

commute.

Trail Run 25:00 [4] 4.07 mi (6:09 / mi)
ahr:169 max:181

Running club. Jet lag still affecting me, but not as bad as yesterday. Went a manageable pace as I didn't do any speed work while on holiday. 5x5min, paces were 6:10, 11, 11, 10, 03. Pretty decent workout, but felt a bit chubby, need to work on the weight.
