4x15min intervals, upper, Phils to Moose, back down to Ridge (no Gobi), finished somewhat close to the end. Started to die on the 4th one, shortest distance of 2.69, longest distance was the first at 2.79 (5:22-5:33 per mile). HRM pretty much didn't work, it captures some higher HRs which I believe are accurate. Which I guess is enough to know that I was going level 4 with HR most above 165. I don't need the HR, I know what I'm doing, its doing fine on the easy ski. Used the RED Lines with yesterdays race wax, matrix blue-black, they were fast, first time I've ever used that wax. Kick was left over Birkie kick, worked OK, but I think it was dried out.

Long cool down, got over 40km total today. It should be noted that the new 45 reads longer than the 225, likely because it collects more data and captures turns in the ski trails better. I started to bonk at the end and the HR degraded, which I now know is the tell tale sign of bonking and running out of calories. I ate well in the morning, my usual granola, then the cookies on the way up and one baby food. Burned probably 2000 calories (guess based on watch data). Didn't drink much, but I think I need to force my self to eat during the ski starting at 1.5 hours if I'm going longer than 2 hours. Had a Swampfox sighting, he was probably just headed out as I was coming down campground to leave. Swampfoxes always like to ski and run when its getting dark and cold and when Mt. Lions are most active. I was getting cold and just wanted to head to the car, went I said hi, it was clear my jaw wasn't working. I don't think he noticed it was me...
