Skate Ski 3:03:00 [1] 23.6 mi (7:45 / mi)

38 km skate at the Jack. Longest skate ski in probably 10 years. Snow there was no different. 3+ laps of the best snow and terrain. 43 km should be no problem, particularly if get the food a bit better. I forgot to bring the baby food and I didn't eat quite enough cookies, but some gu blocks after the first lap served me well and I didn't have to have anymore, though I did have some hunger pains. Skied on the Rossi's, haven't looked at the bases, but I'm sure there's new scratches, which is fine, they are actually the perfect ski for this, stable on the hard track and I don't care if they get trashed. Windy the whole time.

Pro-rate hike at Devil's Backbone, out around the hunter loop, then the morrison trail. Stopped a bunch to take photos. Nice day, 30sF and overcast.

I watched the Lahti skiathlon, Norge put 5 in the top 6 in the men's race and swept the women's, which I think I have to point out because I did it for Ryssland a couple of weeks ago. For some reason I trust Norge though.
