Orienteering 43:00 [3]

pittwater. got around almost cleanly for the first time in my life. Not due to anything but sheer good luck and start time placement. Everytime I was unsure I either caught someone up just before the control, or someone was leaving the control, or I could see people way up ahead looking like they were punching a control. clearly this is the way to do pittwater - stuff the navigation - it just leads to errors. this run of good luck will never be repeated though - it was like getting all the green lights on the way through the city - perhaps I should retire from pittwater now.

kayaking 55:00 [3]

It was a mental effort to drag myself back out to do a technique session on browns river this afternoon - but in the end I found that everyone at home was was annoying me so much that I was better off out in the rain. (and I think everyone was grateful when I left)

had a good session although sometimes I wonder if i'm practising the right technique, or the wrong ones - i don't know what the perfect stroke feels like.
