Huon Winter Series - final race. This time around the bottom half of egg island which made a nice change. Race time 1:03:02 for 11.5 k
I'd been fretting about this race for a while but it all turned out ok. did a decent warm-up for a change, then got off to a good start. Managed to hang onto the back of the guy who dropped me halfway around last race - this time hung onto him until the end in one form or another. finished in a group of 4 but it's pretty hard to match the power of the guys in a sprint to the finish line! Thus I finished at the back of the group of four. Never the less I'm pretty happy with the race.
