10 mins warmup then 10 (!) x 81-87ish second intervals round hockey field in dark. 50sec rest. Happy with efforts as starting to get tired by end - 2nd last one 87, tried to push the last one and only managed 85secs. rest were under 84. Have secretly ordered a decent training watch from ebay. luckily jonno doesnt read this so I'll probably get away with it (provided it is flesh toned)
Turns out ankle is a bit sore from last few weeks - started out on a run then decided it was a better idea to rest it rather than have a 30minute road run at snails pace.
Run on tracks at the Lea. Car got locked in - i didn't even know there was a gate. Got my revenge on ranger for forcing me to walk 1km for the key by accidentally driving over the stupid reflecty thing which was hanging on the gate chain, and smashing it to smithereeens.
5 x 2:30 intervals Nutgrove - 2:35, 2:35, 2:31, 2:32, 2:27 - 2mins rest + 20 situps. I'm sure it's not a good sign when you do the last interval faster than all the others...
NO matter what I try, I still end up running up bloody hills. 45 minutes at conningham - should have notice before I left that it was just one big steep ridge.
