30mins with Tony in Belair Nat. Park. struggled a bit on the hills which was pathetic as they were nothing like the hills of home!

Orienteering 26:00 [3]

Orienteering waterworks - took the nappy bag with me rather than my bag with compass, money etc etc in it. made it round anyway - although felt pretty tired from late nights & longer runs of the last few days.

Basketball 1:20:00 [3]

3 basketball games - my best game was the last game against actual talented players (they beat us by 20 I think). Luckily I can at least get a layup in most of the time.

Corportate Challenge Waterworks. 60 metres climb - gotta be happy with that.

Basketball race 1:05:00 [3]

Game High personal score of 30 points. oK - so maybe that was from all 3 games.. V. stiff and sore today. 3 games might be about 1 more than I would ideally like!

Orienteering race 30:00 [3]

Orienteering during a break in the sleet at the domain. Then plodded back to miriam's place. took wrong track once, marked on wrong control site once. Should see me safely to the back of the field. Still - nice to get outside on an otherwise stay-inside type of day

Longer Loop round waterworks. from bottom dam, up to halls saddle, up another hill for good measure, then down down down to car. 44mins of running to highest point - gee I must love hills a lot.

Gave my ankle a treat by running at the nature reserve. Was bloody cold and windy so the rest of my body didn't really appreciate it - changed my mind during the day about 50 times about whether or not to actually run so I'm feeling pretty good about having got out there though. felt heaps sharper than in hte last few days - forgot my watch though so I don't have proof.

Ran from 1/2way alum cliffs track to home (kingston) - investigated a few new routes near browns river. was plodding along in the rain for most of it..

Up trugannini track to signal station, back to casino via bicentennial track, then slogged it home. Deliberatly didn't start my stopwatch so I could take it reeeeally easy up the hill as I haven't run up truggers for months and was feeling a bit sore after 3 days of running. Ran all the way up it though which I know I never managed in my < 54kg youf. Clearly in the 17 subsequent years my mind has gotten stonger despite the fact that my 'matter' has increased substantially!

1.5km. nearly had a heart attack when I thought the pool cafe had stopped selling the paper as I'm still only doing this for the c.a. 18 minutes of child free paper reading and cokecola drinking.

Summer Series at domain. Felt better to be running with my compass. had some satisfying navigational moments.

Two wins in two games. A record for this year I think.

Orienteering at Ridgeway. Turns out my compass is more than a securty blanket at local events as without it I am likely spend a moderate amount time in green scrub going in a sort of 'away' direction from the track I should have been on. doh. still very fun though.

from behind uni up to hobat college then round 5km track. Forgot how rocky it was so it was a bit tough on my still a bit weird ankle.
