road ride with alexa around stanley and up to highfield house. very pretty - felt like we were in england. actually we both agreed stanley is like that town doc martin comes from. lo0ts of quaint cottages, rolling green hills, and wild seas surrounding us.

Running 45:00 [3]

run with alexa up the nut and around loop track then a little bit along the base. pretty tired from this weeks epic training so was definately dragging the chain on this one. once again amazing views etc.

ankle was ok but of couse later in day i stepped up a step on a bush trail and confirmed that it's still stuffed really,

Cycling At dismal swamp on what they advertise as world class mountain bike trails.they were fun but andy and I found the intermediate one just a bit too hard and the easy one was a bit too easy although it was a bit hard for zali and jet t on their bmx bikes.forest was lovely.hate to think what the hard one was like!

walk fr0m dove lake to w0mbat pool then wombat peak, down to crater lake then back to romy creek. saw lots of actual wombats as opposed to wombat typography. also it really took 2.5 hours becausse my crew consisted of 4, 5 and 7 yr olds (and alexa). also saw crazy running guy who caught up with us for lunchand we couldn't shake him after that.

walked mt roland triple top course - mt claude, mt van dyke, mt roland - actually went up mt roland. Weather was.. inclement.. the entire way.

road cycling on my mtb from Caveside, back to chudleigh (9km) to mole creek (8km) to the road to paradise (8 km). I stopped at the bridge before the big climb over the Gog range and my support vehicles arrived 2 minutes later. perfect. Was really fun despite the driving rain for portions of it. Very scenic and pretty flat.

Was expecting a beautiful morning - unfortunately it was a nightmare for kayaking - I need to learn to read the weather better - starting from sandy bay when the tide is high and there's a moderate North Westerly isn't the way to go! Got out before I fell out so some satisfaction there.

Under dr's orders to rest today and tomorrow. Have undertaken grueling dvd program as replacement for training including :

Bruno 81mins : Resolved never to watch another Sacha Baren Cohen thing again - which reminds me that I made the same resolution after watching Borat. Dang

Drop Dead Gorgeous (2010) 92 mins : great potential but felt it needed a few more laughs.

Pushing Daisies Eps 1 - 4 160 mins: Nice concept and unique visual style - enjoyable but started to get distracted by backgammon on my mobile (Me and the Phone are having a ding-dong battle at the highest level. I'm up 2 games at the moment 11 - 9)

The Wire Ep 1 55 mins: Have no idea what is going on.

So at the ratio of 10 hrs dvd watching = 1 hr training what with getting up to change the dvd and shuffling to the kitchen for popcorn I'm sure you'll all agree that there is a solid 38 minutes training there. uh huh.

cycle from sandy bay to home - had nice tailwind. which was good because every muscle was aching when I started - either from doing building works ( , or playing 10 minutes of soccer against jon, or from kayaking yesterday. or maybe just getting flu.

out to end of pipeline and back then back down summerleas road to home. turns out it's not All downhill from ferntree there are some little hills too (very little but I was still outraged). about 42 to end of track.
