commute home. underpass on bike track is closed so instead of a nice finish to my ride home where my biggest concern is running into pademelons, I have to negotiate 3 roundabouts and numerous busses in the dark. it does not make me happy.

lovely morning little cold.wore pogies on the first loop but took them off.
from dss to cairo and return. slow to turn (gathering breath) then off again. happy with that - it's hard to do longer efforts solo.

From kingston beach to dennes point then back to snug beach. very nice. saw a seal and a few penguins.

Orienteering 28:00 [3]

street series. Anna Dowling toasted me by 3 minutes. If i run reaaaaaly hard she normally only toasts me by 1 -2 minutes. today I knew I wasn't running that hard and I got what i deserved.

Egg Island Circumnavigation. It was eggcellent.
cruisy pace - recon we were on the water for almost 3 hours but with stops and floaty bits probably only 2.5hrs of pretty easy paddling. Perfect.

was late to training but so was Brent so we paddled up towards the bridge. It was hard to spot everyone as hardly anyone was wearing lights but we caught up with them as they were on their way back. It was pretty windy and everyone was saying it was cold but I was pretty well dressed and warmed up (courtesy of scoot to car) so no dramas.
