decided it would be a good idea to run from cascade brewery up the nice track that allegedly gets to junction cabin 4k later. I've almost made it before - at least I thought I had - but clearly I hadn't as although the first 2k is uphill, it's doable, but the 2nd 2k feels like abut 5 k that gets steeper and steeper. Clare and I were pressed for time, so only clare made it - after 45 minutes I was still a few minutes away and clare had made it and turned around. dang - i'll have to try it another day.

cruisy ride in - although I seem to have all my home-shoes at work, and all my work-shoes at home - so had to have my boots in my backpack which hurt on spew hill. I think I had a slight tailwind though which was nice.

Nice ride in today. strangely large amount of obstacles in battery point - I felt like I was in that movie where he that guy is unknowingly living on a reality tv show. Traffic just kept popping out from every corner, and pedestrians kept stepping in front of me. odd.
