Hardest day of hiking in my memory - from Lake Vera over Barron Pass, down to Lake Tahune, then up Frenchmans Cap and back. exhausted.

From Franklin south down the bottom of Egg Island and around. It was guite gusty as I finished and as I picked my boat up to walk the 20 metres to the car it was suddenly being almost blown out of my hands, so I turned so that it was not side-on to the wind, but the wind kept pushing me around like a windmill. In the end I had to call out to someone who was getting ready to go out to give me a hand. only about the third time I've needed help with help with it - stupid wind. I was lucky there was someone there - there normally isn't.

The forecast is for 40 degrees today, so I started this walk at 6am - from the shack, to the end of the road, up rocky ridge, on a weird crossover road, down to maitland bay, around to putty beach, then home. it was very nice although quite mosquito-ey - possibly from last nights thunderstorms.

Flannel Flower Ridge Run. I'm surprised I made it up the hill, but I did. yay me.

half hearted swimming at woy woy pool (which is really nice). Had a 25 metre swim-off with Zali. She beat me in breastroke, freestyle & butterfly. I didn't win anything.

I did run a few k of this, but not enough to upgrade this to "Jog-Hike', it was mostly just walk. The Boudi Coastal Trail is fantastic - passes thoough my favourite NSW beach (Maitland Bay). I got dropped off at 5.30pm at Macmasters Beach, and made it home to Hardy's Bay by 7.45 - a lovely way to end a pretty fun day of beaches and eating.

With tired legs Julie and I elected to just walk around blackman park and find out if the a particular track was actually fenced off, or whether it was just taped off. turned out it is hte latter which is good news for anyone joining a few tracks together (as long as you don't mind the asbestos risk). While we were walking there were plenty of runners coming past so obviusly they were cool with it.

With Julie, parking at the athletics track then heading over to Magdala park and on to filed of mars, then futher on to a turnaround point after 1/2 an hour. On the way back it started to pour with rain.

Lane Cove National Park hike with Jackie. Just did the regular old loop. Haven't ever walked it before I don't think! Kept up a good pace.
