Orienteering race 46:00 [3]

Orienteering at the domain. Ankle much happier after 2 days off!

Walking 2:40:00 [3] 9.0 km (17:47 / km)

Hike with Clare up to Creekton Falls. The first section to Duckhole Lake was easy, the rest of it was pretty arduous. It was nice to be at the watefall in slightly different circumstances to earlier in the week. Ankle pretty sore now though - it needs a break.

Running 2:35:00 [3] 18.0 km (8:37 / km)

This is the third time I've run this awesome loop, and each time my GPS records a different and shorter loop. weird. Felt the most tired of all the trips this time (due to inconsistant lead-up I guess), and spent 10 minutes walking with Jo & Clare as I passed them. As always the views and trail was awesome and the shower afterwards was priceless. Best 18-20k trail run in Australia I reckon.

Running 58:35 [3] 8.1 km (7:14 / km)

Recce for Zali's famous four camping/hiking trip to Lime Bay that she is planning for her and the cousins. The campsite was really nice and the tracks were easy to walk on. She will have to make some navagational decisions in order to get there so that's exciting.

Bushbashing 3:00:00 [3]

Todays' bushbashing was interspersed with a lot more fire trail walking. but unfortunately no success.

Bushbashing 4:00:00 [3]

Very arduous day of bushbashing and walking in thick scrub looking for Bruce Fairfax. Uff Very tired now. Left the search base at 8am and returned at 6pm and immediately ate 2 salad rolls for lunch and dinner combined. when we werent bush bashing we were hiking up and down the trail he dissapeared from. Back at it tomorrow.

Orienteering race 1:02:00 [3]

Made more mistakes today at Kellevie than I did in entire week of Bathurst! Funny how you can be switched on sometimes, and othertimes you can't run the correct way on a track! Also failed to start watch until a few minutes in but Livelox isn't uploading the rest of my race very well. hmmmmph.

Running 40:00 [3]

Peter Murrell just to see if I could run yet. I could run, but it wasn't particularly comfortable on my ankle. managed a short loop though.

Walking 56:00 [3]

Attempted a run - thinking my ankle would be good by now - turns out it wasn't good enough to run yet so I did a steep walk instead whcih was nice.
