Pretty happy - did Tangara Loop this time with out the navigational mistakes but 10 mins quicker than did it the first time when I just followed along. (last week we did it but took almost 3 hours and rode an extra 5k).

Great ride for when you come down next clarabelle.

kayaking 1:10:00 [3]

phew another hard session. this time a 1 hr time trial - we had to do as many laps as possible from a 1.5ish km course - I managed just over 6 and a half laps - it was tough work. Everyone started out fast and left me floundering out the back but I felt I came good after the first 3 or so laps and I had a good 2nd half of the course, hauling in a few of the guys in front of me and then leaving them behind. just covered in sweat afterwards.

kayaking race 57:00 [3] 10.0 km (5:42 / km)

Not exactly sure of exact time but happy with my paddle in the Ice Breaker multisport. hopefully (results aren't out) I finished in the middle of the field which contained 150 guys and maybe 7 girls at the most.

Jon finished off our day with a great ride and run to bring us home 2nd in mixed (the top team had a gun male paddler who finished in the first 10), gun cyclist and gun girl runner doing the relatively short 7k run at the end). can't compete with that.
