had to take jon to airport this morning so changed plans to paddle at Kingston rather than marieville esp. which was a shame as the river looked glassy as we drove through the city which was nOT the case in Kingston this morning. oh well.

did 2 pyramids - 30sec, 1 min, 2, 3 2 1 with 30 secs off and 5 mins between sets.

morning paddle. did a 1 minute sprint every 5 minutes. was good

Planned just a Very short run after the paddle - just wanted to sus out my ankle as it has been feeling a little sore. It was fine though so that's good.

Finally forced myself back onto my MTB for the first time since the Wombat 100 (50k). I had big plans to ride up to the springs and down north south but when push came to shove I couldn't bring myself to do it - so I decided to do something less challenging and did the picket hill loop with a couple of loops around king borough bike track along the way. fun except for stupid dogs.

Waterworks loop. forced myself to run the whole way up the steps to Gentle Annie Falls (which I have never seen). So happy with that.
