kayaking 1:32:00 [3] 15.5 km (5:56 / km)

Paddle from kingston beach around tinderbox to dru point. had awkward diagonal trailing waves for the first part, they wanted me to surf onto the rocks so I had to keep zig-zagging down the coast, staying as off shore as I was comfortable with to avoid the rebound (waves on way in, meeting waves on way out = messy with a chance of swimming)

once I turned around tinderbox (8k) it was pretty calm and smooth sailing. the Garmin is a great training tool as I could see when I was slacking off as my speed and HR were dropping. tried to be consistent and above 'leisurely' pace.

couldn't face running or paddling today and my calf was still a little sore from the cramp yesterday (is that normal?). So decided to ride for the first time in a while. All went ok and i rode to mums after work to get a lift home.

Running 55:00 [3]

From lambert ave to signal station. all on bush tracks. 31 to top, 25 or so back via loop extenstion on way down.

kayaking 1:40:00 [3] 14.0 km (7:09 / km)

well that was a toughie. 2k warm up 4 x 2.5k efforts, two of them with an occy strap around the boat to slow it down! Also had to start each effort from the beach - so standing nextto the boat. On the last effort I got cramp in my calf and hopped in and immediatley fell straight out. took a few minutes before I could trust cramp wouldn't kick in again when I got back in. I felt ok tonight but seemed to be falling off the back of the pack a lot. hmmm

Running 1:10:00 [3]

I actually don't have any idea how long it was but it was good and long and i'm happy my ankles survived the rugged sydney sandstone tracks of lane cove NP. what a great day!
