kayaking 45:00 [3]

New time-trial that I'm calling the Beach to Bay - from pontoon at Kingston beach, around the furtherest yacht at blackmans bay, then back. today 34:34. I can see room for improvement. also next time i'll wear garmin. 5 mins warmup & warm down.

Running 31:00 [3]

easy jog-a-log along alum cliffs afterwards.

cycling 50:00 [3]

commute home. avoided most of rain but did get a bit as i came down the bonnet.

cycling 50:00 [3]

commute to work. they have started painting on the new cycleway. not surprisingly it starts just after one dodgy section and finishes just before the other (from casino to marieville). nethertheless i'm looking forward to having a great big green lane all to myself!

Running 40:00 [3]

woohoo! finally won the mental battle with myself and went for a run! survived an easy 40 mins in peter murrell reserve.

kayaking 40:00 [3]

two sessions in a real surfski at a real surf beach - doing practise on reading the waves and negotiating the surf on the way out, and catching breaking waves on the way in. was great fun.
My strategy for getting out through the waves was just to paddle as fast as I could - consequently I got hit in the face/chest full force by some walls of water! survived it though - am keen to do it again.
