Caanan Downs training session, focus on straight lining through harder terrain/awkward slope angles etc. Tomos everywhere! So many depressions on this map and lots of rocks. Mapping pretty out of date which added to the challenge. Thanks to Michael for organising and putting out kites.

After slow careful thinking for the training, went for a quick jog around the orange part of tommorrows rogiane course seeing as I can't make it. Nice mental relaxation to go punch all the orange controls on farmland!

Warm up to Saxton playing fields. 6x 3min fast with 2min walks. Managed 7/8 of the way around the fields in 3 min. Warm down walk home.
