Loop the Lake - ticking off a run I've been meaning to do for a long time. Brief stop at Lakehead for snack etc, otherwise nice steady pace, feeling great.

Out with Jen and Julian for a pleasant day walking around the southern end of Big Bush, behind Teetotal. Jen & Julian decided to add to their load by carrying rifles all day. Really nice bit of bush, quite open, picturesque stream.

Placeholder log for usual Thursday night run - slow tonight with lots of hills and a bush bash up from the Hospital to Tawa Track (I thought there was a track, turns out there's not). Not feeling strong on the hills...

Short training course around the very old map of Faulkners Bush at Wakefield. Surprisingly accurate after 14 years, several new areas of bush recently planted need remapping.
