Street Scramble. I ended up fifth out of eight in the mens category with 830 points out of 1000. Only one team cleared the course (I'm looking you, PinkSocks), but considering that nobody else in any category got over 800 points, it was fifth overall. I felt pretty good about my route choices and the few controls that I skipped, I came in with about three minutes to spare. I know that fitness level was the limiter on this one, but considering essentially the top five of us were the only ones over 800, I felt pretty good about how it went.
Snow day! Which means I woke up to bare roads, and it wasn't until 10am that snow started. There's at most an inch on the roads, but everything in the western part of the state is completely shut down.
I'm hoping for enough snow for the Stumptown Birkie. If there's enough snow that falls fast enough, everyone converges somewhere downtown and there's a race through downtown. Here's some pictures from 2014:
We get snow only once every few years in the city, so this is a Big Deal.

Hiking to the store...uh...for supplies to make chocolate chip cookies. :) I needed to move around so I volunteered to do the grocery trip for Monster Palace. It's pretty slick outside since all the roads are freezing over, but the city is mostly shut down.

Felt okay - not as great as yesterday but still doing alright. 30 minutes at this pace seems to fly by (especially while watching Rick and Morty or Steven Universe). Looking forward to Street Scramble on Saturday, and either I'll get stuck at work Sunday which will mean treadmill, or I'll go skiing.
