Back out on the bike. I took it pretty easy, though climbs still suck. I only had one driver almost hit me. It felt good to get out there while the weather is starting to turn nicer again - it's been in the high 40s finally without rain during the day!

Note

I had a dream about running an orienteering course in a bizarre landscape full of spooky characters and scenes out of something like a sci fi movie. There were control descriptions for "scorpion parts, inside whirlwind" and "stack of tires." Wish I could remember what my brain thought the IOF control description symbols were for those...
5 PM

Running 15:07 intensity: (7:27 @1) + (5:13 @2) + (2:27 @3) 1.64 km (9:14 / km) +21m 8:41 / km

Very short, verrrry easy jog/walk. Still pretty tired from the race yesterday, but wanted to at least move outside for a bit.

Orienteering race 1:19:40 intensity: (39 @1) + (41 @2) + (8:21 @3) + (35:00 @4) + (34:59 @5) 9.86 km (8:05 / km) +6m 8:04 / km

Champoeg night/score O. I felt better than I expected, had trouble at a couple controls because of not judging distances well, but mostly did alright. Cleared the course (90 minute time limit). I ended up with blisters on the balls of my feet though... Maybe a weird thing with my wool socks and how wet it was.

Running 31:38 intensity: (5:16 @1) + (6:24 @2) + (10:21 @3) + (8:52 @4) + (45 @5) 4.39 km (7:12 / km) +19m 7:03 / km

I'm unemployed!

I got laid off today, so I'm back on the job hunt. But it does mean I have more time to get back into shape and work out regularly, instead of getting home from work and being tired out and trying to drag myself outside while it's cold and dark and wet.

I'm trying to up my distance more, I took a little walking break in the middle of this one so I don't go too hard yet...but it was nice out today.
