A social pedal with Barry after a morning of indecision about whether or not to go south. Talked myself into it before falling off my bike when a car pulled out on us. Only grazes though, I'm at my dad's ready to go onto the lakes tomorrow. The drive's shorter and I'll be starting in the evening so there'll be plenty time to relax a bit in Keswick first. Lawrence can't make it so I'll be running on my own

Friday Dec 1 #

Left glute and hamstring generally knotty from gym work or sleeping funny or something. Didn't bother me at all while running. 6 strides went well.

Easy rather than moderate because the BG is back on... probably. Forecast Sunday into Monday is good so I'll probably drive down tomorrow. Lawrence, being a grown-up, has to be at work on Monday so it might be a solo mission. Guess I'll just have to talk to myself all night.

Temperature and motivation both a little low this morning. Was convinced I'd skip strides but wasn't able to convince myself to sack it off, they went fine.

Note

Gym session, 2 or 3 sets of most P&C exercises and upper body stuff.

Feeling tight in a few places, need to be more consistent with stretching, rolling etc. But still running reasonably well. 8 hill sprints, all fine.

Tuesday Nov 28 #

Slush from above, slush from below. 6 strides to finish, fast and easy.

Or man on the ground in the lakes says it's a biggest, so this weekend's a no go. We'll pretty much have to wait for a big freeze.

Plodding, 8 strides. One tweak from that leg thing on one stride but all the rest fine. That's the first I've heard from that leg for a while, which is encouraging.
