Those are the course planner's distances, we almost certainly did more.

We punched a control in the wrong reentrant, hence the odd results page thing. Irritating that we ran through the correct reentrant to get to the wrong one, and that but for a few moments' carelessness we would have won. Still, 20/21 controls went well enough in increasingly trying conditions. More good than bad etc.

A bit clunky all over, eased into the hill sprints then they went pretty well.

2.5 on the intensity scale, pushing 3 at times, tight stuff loosening through the run. Not many hill type hills but undulating and more of the technical stuff than I usually use on easy runs.

When you say 'with hills' is it runnable stuff that you have in mind or if I did 600-700m on one of these sessions would that the appropriate as long as the intensity stays fairly low?

Thaw underway, my pristine winter wonderland has become a slushy, slidey, shitty mess. A few bits of tightness came and went in my left leg. Hamstring related yoga after breakfast.

Mostly nav focused rather than vert focused, though I'm going to start going elsewhere for this sort of stuff. There's not much to nav by in the woods here so I end up doing some strange things. Snow on top of forestry mess, not idea training terrain.
