Running (Specific Endurance) 2:15:00 [3] 14.2 km (9:30 / km) +1469m 6:16 / km

Glutes and gracilis will creaky this morning but warmed up well. 6x Nazi Gold, saving Meall a'Bhuachaille for the bigger days. Hiking well, faster than usual but feeling strong through to the end.

First moderate run for quite a while I think. Some stiffness towards the end, a combination of gym yesterday and being unused to actually running but good overall, a refreshing change.

Thursday Feb 8, 2018 #

Feeling lacklustre in general today but pretty good while training. 8 hill sprints were grand and overall fairly sprightly.

Gym this afternoon, got through all specific strength and most of the upper body exercises. Noticeable progress with both I think, which is encouraging.

Plod plod, 8 strides, all good. Posture and coordination in the gym then massage. Ski touring tomorrow I think.

Monday Feb 5, 2018 #

Still taking it easy, things starting to loosen off. Quads and itb not quite there yet, will see if I can get a massage tomorrow. 8 or 9 strides were good.

Straight to the gym afterwards, ran through that hurdles routine again then did upper body stuff. Assuming it's less important to have a gap between run and gym when it's the upper body exercises?
