Running (Easy) 57:00 [2] 6.8 km (8:23 / km) +214m 7:15 / km

An afternoon bike ride with Karen, my dad and his wife on her new ebike. 50k in 3 hours, sufficient freewheeling to merit it's exclusion here.

Evening run/stroll with Karen up to the monument above Comrie. Bit of tightness in my left calf. Sunshine.

Running (Easy) 51:00 [2] 9.7 km (5:15 / km) +70m 5:04 / km

Cycle to the lodge, run, gym, massage. Easy jogging, all good. Just half an hour in the gym. Massage was fine, glutes pretty interesting. Then cycle home again.

At my dad's, did the physio calf stuff before bed, so an hour s&c for the day all in.

Cycling (Easy) 1:53:00 [2]

48.6k 331m

Ride to work via a café. Broke a shifter. Lots of high cadence work til I can be bothered to get that replaced.

An hour of s&c. This might be my new way of being more productive. Set timer, do shit til it beeps, no fannying about clock watching.

Physio calf stuff
Press ups
Lateral band walks
Glute bridges

Running (Easy) 25:00 [2] 4.7 km (5:19 / km) +41m 5:06 / km

Short run before work, on trails this time. Nice to be outside, way more enjoyable than yesterday. Felt I was running fine. Still some tiredness around, head a bit fuzzy occasionally.

Running (Treadmill) 20:00 [2]

Time kind of got away from me today. Baking bread, washing my bike, staring out the window. Biked to work and got a wee run on the treadmill to avoid any of the up and down on the trails nearest the lodge. Perception of effort on the treadmill is really weird. I think I got up to 9kph at 1 or 2%, pretty much had my mouth closed by my legs felt like they were moving much quicker. Treadmills are weird.

Think I'm still working through race, travel stress. Another production is at impressive levels today, particularly on the ride to work. Been sleeping fairly well though so things are headed in the right direction.

The Lone Peaks I've been wearing to work and for occasional runs are ready for the scrap heap I think. All that midsole foam is beginning to collapse and could be a contributing factor to lower leg funk.

No running today but I cycled into Aviemore and then to work.

Running (Eeeaaasy) 25:00 [2] 3.7 km (6:45 / km)

Jog round the meadows with Karen on the first half of her easy run, trying to get her to slow down. There's tweakiness in my left quad but i was jogging ok. Did some stretching afterwards.
