4 X FHC on Burma Road. Legs felt tired warming up and totally empty on the first rep. Considered canning it in the first minute. But miraculously improved through the session, getting a bit tired again from the end of the 3 rep, though the 4th wasn't as bad as I feared. Knot in left low back on first jog down but it went away and there were no other niggles.

Good ol' 1 hour easy loop. A slight sensation of something in the left knee early but it settled fine. Legs knew they'd done some work yesterday but overall good.

6 strides swapping directions on the road. Surprisingly decent.

Continuing the theme of being pleasantly surprised by these sessions. Went out willing to cut it short or even skip it if the knee tweak tweaked or if I just felt lacklustre, but this was pretty good.

Hurried into the first 60 and it was too slow, got my act together after that and they were pretty consistent. Inshriach HRH is steeper than the Grantown one, particularly at the end, so it was grind to the finish rather than pick up pace and kick it in. 30s on the mellower lower half felt fast. Last couple were maybe slightly less strong than the rest of the session so I stopped after 6. Still progression from last week, satisfied with it.
