Glenbeg hill, grouse beat, viewpoint. Moderateish on the climbs, coasting the downs, one ~3' faster effort for some petty Strava shite. A bit stiff and creaky this morning after yesterday but actually felt fine during the run. Left low leg kinda funky at the start and intermittently after but never a problem. Big toe knuckle on left foot had a couple of wee sore tweaks. A few days in the Timps are called for.

2 bottles of 2 scoop Tailwind.

Evening trip to the Glenbeg burn. Headtorch on, a few bits of wiggly path. Running more briskly than this morning on the less wiggly bits, feeling fine.

6 x 30", 6 x 60" on the lower Glenbeg hill. First time doing them here, the gradient is more constant than the viewpoint hill or Inshriach. Took the reps back a step after the weekend's excursion, will add a week to the block and do The Big Un then.

Plain sailing basically. To the point that I'm unsure I was going hard enough and/or should have done more reps. I guess that's what training does.

Thought about hill reps today but legs were quite tired, felt a bit hungry as I got out the door. Running ok in spite of heavy legs. 6 hill strides in Glenbeg were good.

5:45 alarm for the first split shift. Fun times. Meall a'Bhuachaille loop with Karen's little summit bag. Fucking amazing weather again. Right ankle creaked a bit on early downhills. More like moderate on the climbs, granny gearing away, didn't feel especially tired or sore.
