Round Anagach. Legs feeling quite spry. Mild discomfort in left knee shifting from that tendon at the back bit into the quad, then disappearing, reappearing...never bad. 6 strides on the road. Knee a bit tweaky the first one or two but improving.

Rode to the Burma Road, warmed up for FHCs but binned it because the knee was sore. Ran through short versions of all the exercises and they were fine, but fast uphill running I could feel pressure building on the inside back of the knee and the lowest inside bit of quad. Jogged up for a while then down, it was ok with that but decided not to risk it as this is a bonus training block week anyway. All the cycling to work potentially responsible.

Woke up really early and couldn't get back to sleep.

Hour easy round the Inshriach woods. That inside left knee thing started out slightly grizzly, then went away, then came back on the strides. 6 of them slightly up hill, tension around the inside of the left knee moving around a bit and coming and going.

Legs not quite fresh after the double double commute but decided to persevere with the full session so I can draw a line under the training block. Glad I did, it was fine. Maybe a fraction off the pace as I wasn't gasping like a landed mackerel at the end of the reps, just breathing very, very hard. 30s felt fast, I'll choose to ignore the tailwind. No drop off in pace, I think the last was the fastest. Inner back left knee tendon bit/upper calf creaked a bit on the last few jog downs but wasn't a problem. Overall, good, now on to something else.

Round Morlich after work part 1, saving the intervals for tomorrow when there's no cycling in the legs. Feeling fine. Did 6 hill strides afterwards on a mellow but of trail just by the lodge. Felt pretty decent.
