The whole fucking world was on Meall a' Bhuachaille today. Ross and Jess, Alasdair, Sarah and Torin, multiple HHRs and umpteen chatty strangers. So extensive were the stoppages that I'm logging moving time like a total wanker.

5x with a bonus trip up the fireroad and through the woods at the end. Nothing feeling overly sprightly, unsurprising given yesterday's exertions, but not too terrible either. Achilles had forgotten it was ever creaking, I just grinded (ground...? I should sort that out) away. Bigger bag on, packin' a belay jacket etc. Alternated between uncomfortably hot legs and freezing face. After 10 minutes of sun my shades sat atop my head for 3 and a half hours like some kind of massive twat beacon.

~100gr/hr from 0:45 onwards. A few burps, no discomfort.

Cycling (Hill reps) 2:21:00 [3]

47.9k, 1,244m.

Bridge of Brown reps, 4 on the south side, 5 on the north, ~3:40 and ~5:40 respectively for ~43 minutes total. Bits of both side are definitely steeper than is ideal. Maybe all of both sides, but still, good honest, quad burning fun. Don't think the pace dropped off too dramatically, though the first north side was quicker than the rest.

Bit of hail thrown in for good measure. Met Karen at the end of the last rep and rode home getting colder and colder.

Beinn Mhor, bothy, viewpoint. Most of the SVs were uphill, so more like effort variations, some pretty grindy. Left hip was mostly ok, tweaked a little just as I stopped to walk home. Might do a bike session tomorrow.

Top of the Glenbeg hill, grouse beat, middle Glenbeg road on the way home. No fuelling.

Pretty much fine. Various bits of left side taking turns to be gristly. Glute, hamstring, calf, hip flexors, but never anything especially worrying. A bit tired towards the end.

A snowy viewpoint hill. 5x 3', 3'30"ish jog down, 4x 30", 2'ish jog down.

All ok. Times tightly bunches enough, enough zip left in the legs to give the 30s beans. Left hip maybe a little tight but nothing you'd call a niggle.
