Northern Cairngorm Munros with Ross Brannigan. Mostly social aside from the first 15 minutes where I thought he was going to run the legs off me and the final descent on the Lochain path where I left him behind. A bunch of standing around looking at bits of hillside and maps. Cold hands having left gloves in the car, windy, claggy, wet. All feeling fine now. Last long run for at least 8 days.

Carrot cake and coffee at the Cairngorm Cafe afterwards.

5 west-most Fannichs after almost losing psych standing by the road cheering Celtman cyclists. Not feeling any negative effects of the jab yesterday but still didn't push at any point.

Ate a bunch, hiked a bunch. Left low leg minorly gristly for a little while but never a problem.

2x Meall a'Bhuachaille. 18.20 and 22.23 from the bothy and the visitor centre respectively. Slow times due to heavy legs and hoora windy. Total headwind on the bothy side in particular was a bastard. Definitely not all there oomph wise, weekend, Tuesday and the ride in from Grantown all contributing factors. May have canned the second one if tomorrow wasn't vaccine day. Didn't feel like I could really get the HR up all that high so just chugged along. It would be nice to feel a little zippier but the effort level probably wasn't that far off.

Morning lying around trying to be inconspicuous while new storage heaters are installed, afternoon jogging up Meall a'Bhuachaille in muggy as fuck weather. Did a little yoga this morning and felt fucking tired, just really heavy. Run was marginally better than that but still not very lively. Intentionally did a lot of hiking and took it casual on the downhill.

6 hill strides on the road were good though.
