From scolty to potarch - up scolty, along shooting greens ridge and down the mtb tracks then just followed the deeside way to potarch with a wee divert up craigmore. Had to put all my layers on at the start due to strong winds and horizontal rain but by the time i was at the top of the tower i was down to a t-shirt! All the seasons today. All the single tracks were an actual nightmare, very muddy and slippy and couldnt even run in the terrain as the snow was so slippy. Good, chill fun, very much needed.

Abz X-country - can’t believe I missed Red Nose Day at school for this. Literally the same course and distance as last time I ran it, and I was 3rd year. Was a very fast start so ended up having to weave my way through the crowd on the hill. Barely got into it and we were at the finish. Still good to get a fast run in and enjoyed the atmosphere. 5th senior

L glute was achy by the end but expected it after doing single leg at the gym yesterday. Sure it’ll sort itself out.
