a very snowy scolty with luke, looks like banchory’s new ski resort! My knee was sore last night/this morning but i think that’s from two days of sitting about doing nothing but being lazy. Felt less sore when i started running which is weird but good. Was also worried the walk with jenny this morning (also at scolty) plus a run would be too much today but it seems to have been okay. Knee felt strong on the downhills but both knees felt ‘something’, not sore but just weird, i think the achy-ness is just due to my knees not being used to the impact of downhill running yet. Got back to the car and my pocket was open and lacking car keys :( Used a very kind ladies phone to call home to come rescue us, but 5 minutes later the car suddenly opened! a couple had found the keys up the hill, a miracle since my keys don’t even have a key ring or anything bright attached. Muir of dinnet...with an unexpected trip to cambus bridge. Out for like an hour but only 30mins of running. Snow was so deep, laughing the whole way round, especially when we ended up on the main road! Couldn’t make out any paths after a while so decided to just make our own. Knee held up good, usual achy feeling at the start but went away, came back a few times but only for a few minutes. I feel 30 minutes is more than manageable now, preferably not in such deep snow next time. Highlight of today was kirsty’s pee stop location, maybe the best yet.

Note

knee sore after skiing yesterday, was borrowing Loren’s mums skis which were much skinnier than my mums skis so was a lot more unstable which put more pressure through my knee i’m guessing. Busy day with uni so a day off to let the knee settle. Just spread my usual rehab throughout the day for breaks from sitting at my desk
