Running 1:09:00 [3] 3.1 km (22:15 / km) +750m 10:04 / km

'Ran' straight up the steep side of Grassmoor. Was savage. Knee deep heather with scree beneath on a 40 degree slope for 40 minutes. Obviously was walking, scrambling and clinging onto the heather for most of it so not much running although hopefully good for strength in terrain.
Pace looks ridiculously slow, but it was pretty slow terrain.
Decent was sketchy also over the scree and crags.

Recovery run with Dan. Felt good actually, quicker than last time on the same route.

Orienteering 29:05 [4] 5.16 km (5:38 / km)
slept:7.5

Decent run.
Fairly good through first section. Messed #4 by 50seconds and got binned.
Was with Harry.S through spectator but turned up the pace back into a comfortable 4th into Phi loop. Ran totally on my own through here, saw Ali.T and Dan on the out and back section to 13/14.
Up hill to 16 and saw Dan just before spectator, which was a nice boost. Through second spectator and into (slightly dodgy) last loop. Had a shorter gaffle than Dan in this bit so got him. Into the finish in 3rd. Pleased, but would have liked to fight Dan/Joe directly, losing time early on so nah.
3rd team with Felix and Alisdair and England win overall which was good.
