Didn't have a program worked out because I didn't know what stuff there was there.
Will have one worked out for next week.
Feel like my legs have lost some decent power after no squats for 4 months.

Looking at a terrain loop for winter terrain runs with Alistair. Will be solidly brutal enough to get us savage in the skog (that's the plan anyhow).

Ran all the way to the top of Blake Fell from the lake!! Took the start of the climb steady.
Took Dan to top of Blake Fell (although he did wait for me further down).

Morning Swim

Managed 40 lengths (25m) at breast-stroke, + some assorted others about 10 lengths.

In the super slow lane with my baggy swim shorts, basically a pro swimmer.

Will improve though.

When the ink comes off your map training!

Attack point practice, this is something I identified as needing to work on so prepicked attackpoints for each control and blocked off area between thesere and controll in paint.
Was on point technically, only one hesitation near the end. Also bottled running straight on long leg, was dead on line on the compass but in the dark lost confidence and puposly veered off to the left to hit fence.

Area was quite easy but with bits of map missing and at night was a decent challenge.

Monday Oct 17 #

Recovery run with Dan and Rosie.
Pace was slower than usual but still ok for recovery.
Had to drop the 3:30s at the end to make it back in time for my doctors appointment, for my pneumonia.

Doctor says it could take untill Christmas to get rid of my cough completley which is a bit annoying but shouldnt stop me running.
